
Naftogaz Chief: Situation Difficult But Controlled After 17 Russian Combined Attacks
Roman Chumak, Acting Chairman of the Board at Naftogaz, stated this in comments to Ukrinform.
He noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces have carried out 17 combined attacks on Naftogaz Group's gas infrastructure facilities.
"The strikes have caused serious damage to production facilities essential for gas extraction. The situation is difficult but controlled. Repair work is ongoing. The entire Naftogaz Group team, along with employees of Ukrgazvydobuvannya, are doing everything possible to provide the country and consumers with the necessary volumes of gas," Chumak said.

On March 7, Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, damaging the production facilities of Naftogaz and DTEK Group.
