
Jiffy Lube Announces USP Group Riverton Depot Dawgz Wins Top Honor In Jiffy Lube National Oil Change Championship
Team Car Care's Rancho Cucamonga, CA Team Takes Home Customer Experience Award
HOUSTON, March 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Jiffy Lube, an industry leader in providing quick, quality oil change and vehicle maintenance for more than 45 years, announces the winners of this year's J-Team All Stars Challenge, a national competition focused on delivering an exceptional customer service. Jiffy Lube franchisee USP Group's Riverton (a Salt Lake City suburb) team, The Depot Dawgz, earned the title of "best performing Jiffy Lube team in the U.S." after beating three other teams in the finals in Houston. The top finalists included Space Coast Lube's Lubrigators from Melbourne, FL, Team Car Care's Jeddi Jiffy Crew from Ayer, MA, and Team Car Care's Los Lobos from Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
The J-Team All Stars Challenge is a national competition where teams work seamlessly to demonstrate their technical automotive expertise and customer experience focus while helping customers get in and out in a Jiffy. This year's J-Team All Stars Challenge included more than 1,300 participating Jiffy Lube locations from across the country. Teams were evaluated on teamwork, operational execution, and customer experience skills as well as how quickly they perform a Jiffy Lube Signature Service® Oil Change. With the victory, The Depot Dawgz took home a grand prize of $10,000 and all-expense paid trip to the Pennzoil 400 Presented by Jiffy Lube in Las Vegas on March 16th. The team included Kyle Peterson, Isaac Akiyama, Mason Chivers, and Zander Palfreyman.

The J-Team All Stars Challenge was created by Jiffy Lube International more than two decades ago to highlight the company's award-winning Jiffy Lube University training program and empower service center employees to showcase the knowledge and expertise that helps them provide exemplary preventive vehicle maintenance and deliver a consistent, top-notch customer experience. As the pioneer of the Quick Lube industry, the challenge also reinforces the brand's legacy of delivering fast, convenient service in a Jiffy.

Customer Experience Award Winner Also Revealed
In a separate, but equally important competition, the Team Car Care Los Lobos team took home the Customer Experience Award. This award consisted of two unannounced visits to each participating Jiffy Lube location, conducted by a third-party auditing company. Teams are evaluated on six key criteria. The winning team members are Jose Franco, Sarah McInnish, Armando Avalos, and Alejandro Arce. The team took home $10,000 for winning, in addition to banking $7,500 for coming in second place in the J-Team All Stars Challenge.
