GOODYEAR ASSOCIATES HONORED AS LEADERS IN MANUFACTURING
Davis is named a Women MAKE Emerging Leader for her early-career ability to take on engineering challenges and deliver solutions that meet the needs of Goodyear's customers and consumers. In addition, Davis began a reverse mentoring program with Goodyear's Global Engineering team and mentors both students and new Goodyear associates.
"Whether she's tackling complex projects or identifying growth opportunities for herself and her teammates, we celebrate Taylor's commitment to continuous learning and receipt of this award," said Don Metzelaar, Goodyear's senior vice president, Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain. "Taylor's career is off to a strong start, and her contributions help to continually advance our manufacturing processes and inspire incoming talent."
Yu's finance leadership in Goodyear's expansion and sustainability initiatives are recognized with the 2025 Women MAKE Awards Honoree designation. Her leadership in implementing Industry 4.0 automation and digitalization capabilities help advance Goodyear's manufacturing innovation in the region. Additionally, Yu is a coach to upcoming manufacturing and finance leaders at Goodyear and has been instrumental in forming partnerships with academic institutes to share STEM careers with students.
"Jingwei's finance leadership has been transformative for Goodyear's manufacturing and supply chain operations in the region," said Nathaniel Madarang, Goodyear Asia Pacific President. "Her efforts to connect our manufacturing plants with local universities to foster STEM education mutually benefits Goodyear and the local community."
The MI will recognize Davis and Yu among 130 award recipients during the Women MAKE Awards gala on April 24 in Washington, D.C. The evening will highlight each honoree's story, including their leadership and accomplishments in manufacturing.
