DTM Raffle Draw Winners Receive Prizes

Dhaka: Prizes were handed over to the winners of raffle draws organized for the visitors during the recently concluded international tourism fair 'US- Bangla Airlines Dhaka Travel Mart (DTM) 2025' at a ceremony held at the Parjatan Bhaban, Agargaon in the city today.

Speaking on the occasion, Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor of the Bangladesh Monitor, organizer of DTM said over 15,000 people visited the 20th edition of the fair during three days. Over 5,000 people registered online for visiting the popular event. The fair this year recorded a total transaction of more than Tk. 150 million, including spot sales, and advance bookingS.

Raffle draws were held every day for the visitors pre-registered online, while the grand raffle draw for other visitors was held on the concluding day, i.e. February 8. A total of 45 lucky visitors won prizes including air tickets to domestic and international destinations, hotel and resort accommodation, and complimentary dinner, lunch coupons among others.

Md. Abu Sayeed from Dhaka won the first prize- return tickets to Manchester for two, courtesy Biman Bangladesh Airlines, while M. Asaduzzaman won the second prize-Dhaka-Maldives-Dhaka air ticket for couple, courtesy US-Bangla Airlines and Ibrahim Faraz won the third prize-Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka air ticket for couple, courtesy Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

Various organizations contributed raffle draw prizes including Biman, US-Bangla Airlines, FirstTrip, Akij Air, Air Astra, NOVOAIR, InterContinental Dhaka, Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, Adaaran Hudhuranfushi, Maldives, Adaaran Rannalhi, Maldives, Adaaran Vadoo, Maldives, Radisson Blu Water Garden Dhaka, Hotel Sarina, Holiday Inn, Hansa Hotel Dhaka, Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Sapa, Cox's Bazar, Sayman Beach Resort, Cox's Bazar, Sikder Resort and Villas, Golden Tulip Dhaka, Sheraton Dhaka, Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort and Crown Plaza Dhaka,

The prize giving ceremony was attended by the representatives of the sponsors and partners of DTM as well as the award sponsors among others.

The 18th edition of the Dhaka Travel Mart was held from February 8-10, 2025 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel Dhaka. Organized by the Bangladesh Monitor, popular travel and tourism extravaganza was supported by US-Bangla Airlines as the title sponsor, FirstTrip and Akij Air as the co-sponsors, Biman Bangladesh Airlines as the airline partner, and Mutual Trust Bank as the banking partner.
