US, Iraqi military murder 5 Daesh terrorists

(MENAFN) CENTCOM stated on Saturday, United States and Iraqi military forces murder five Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in a collaborative air attack close to a town on the Euphrates River about 320 kilometers (199 miles) northwest of Baghdad called Rawa.

Iraqi Security Forces (ISF), assisted by US Central Command (CENTCOM), led the air attack in Iraq on Wednesday, murdering five Daesh (ISIS) terrorists.

CENTCOM posted on X, the maneuver close to Rawa, which is located on the Euphrates River's north bank, was affiliated to a wider military operation to conquest Daesh. And the campaign caused the wrecking of weapons, grenades, suicide explosive belts, and bullets.

The Iraqi-led mission received technical support and intelligence from the Coalition Joint Task Force—Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) during the counterterrorism operation.

Even though United States Leader Donald Trump's statement that ISIS was entirely beaten many years ago, CENTCOM claimed that terrorist party stays a local and international danger and also promised to carry on attempts to break down its networks.

The United States names the Iraqi federal government's law enforcement and military forces as the ISF.
