Petra, Kazinform Discuss Cooperation

Amman, Feb. 14 (Petra)-- Director General of the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Fairouz Mubaideen, along with Robert Muradyan, Managing Director of Kazakhstan's Presidential TV and radio Complex, discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the two sides.
Mubaideen emphasized the agency's eagerness to initiate the two agencies' joint cooperation program and improve news distribution and professional expertise sharing at her reception of Muradyan, on Friday.
Mubaideen said that Petra aims to improve the skills of its staff in line with the advancements in media work, particularly in the areas of digital media and artificial intelligence, through its collaboration with Arab and international news agencies and other media institutions.
Mubaideen gave an overview on the Jordan News Agency's vision, mission, strategic goals, and future work plan.
The Kazakhstan International News Agency (Kazinform), one of the organizations of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan's Radio and Television Complex, aims to genuinely gain from the experiences of the Jordan News Agency, stay up to date with contemporary developments, and offer reciprocal training to the cadres of the two organizations, according to Muradyan.
In the context of the collaboration agreement with Petra, which was extended last year, he continued, the Kazakhstan International News Agency is eager to employ Petra's media product, particularly in relation to tourism, energy, and economic matters.
He emphasized that in the following phase, the two agencies' cooperation program will be activated, and visits and media skills will be shared in a way that supports their respective missions.
The meeting was attended by News Director Musa Khlifat, Director of Petra Training Center, Jamil Al-Ghadhirah, and Journalist Rasmi Al-Khazaleh.
