Toyota, Mitsubishi ban workers from using DeepSeek
(MENAFN) According to Kyodo News Agency on Wednesday, Japanese car manufacturer Toyota and Mitsubishi have prohibited their members from the usage of the Chinese AI chatbot DeepSeek.
The largest worldwide car manufacturer by size, Toyota has banned the usage of DeepSeek as mentioned in a formal declaration: "We have concerns from an information security standpoint," based on the report.
A Japanese army business, Mitsubishi Heavy does not allow its employees to use the chatbot for work-related matters.
SoftBank also mentioned that it banned employees from installing and using DeepSeek on their work- issued phones and restricted the entering to the chatbot in the organization.
