Tucker Carlson Accuses Ukrainian Elites of Enriching Themselves with US Taxpayer Money

(MENAFN) American journalist Tucker Carlson has claimed that Ukrainian elites have enriched themselves by embezzling US taxpayer money intended for the conflict with Russia. Speaking with retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis on Monday, Carlson shared his observations of wealthy Ukrainian visitors at an upscale ski resort in the Alps, implying that they were misappropriating funds meant for the war effort.

Carlson, a former Fox News host and a vocal critic of US support for Ukraine, described his visit to the resort, where he noted that “the whole town is Ukrainian.” He observed that these visitors were spending lavishly, stating, “All the visitors are Ukrainian, and they’re rolling into Hermes, and dropping a million dollars in an afternoon.” According to Carlson, this trend is visible across Europe, where “the richest people are the Ukrainians.” He further claimed that the money they were spending “belongs to me and you and every other American taxpayer.”

Carlson went on to argue that this corruption not only wastes American resources but also poses a danger to US citizens. He referenced unverified allegations of Ukrainian military personnel selling weapons on the black market, with reports suggesting that the weapons may have reached Mexican drug cartels. Carlson also criticized US funding to Ukrainian special services, accusing them of orchestrating “terrorist attacks” within Russia, though he did not provide concrete evidence for these claims.
