Moscow gears up to host its annual Future Technologies Forum

(MENAFN) Moscow is gearing up to host its annual Future Technologies Forum, described as a “unique platform” by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. The event, scheduled for February 20-21, will bring together scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials from Russia and beyond. The forum will feature the latest advancements in science and technology, with a focus on innovations expected to revolutionize key industries.

Since its inception in 2023, the forum has highlighted different technological fields each year. While past events have focused on quantum communications and medical developments, this year’s theme will be new materials and chemistry. Chernyshenko emphasized that the event provides a space for discussions on future scientific developments, aligning with President Vladimir Putin’s goal of securing Russia's leadership in technology.

The forum will consist of four main discussion themes: ‘Chemistry and High-Purity Substances,’ ‘Modern Materials and Technologies,’ ‘New Horizons,’ and ‘Ecosystem.’ Topics will include advancements in high-tech chemistry, the role of innovative materials in sectors like biomedicine and transportation, emerging technologies for space exploration, and the regulatory and infrastructural frameworks supporting these innovations. The event underscores the vital collaboration between science, business, and government in advancing Russia's technological goals.
