Ukraine's National Guard Fighters Capture Six Russian Soldiers In Pokrovsk Sector

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Fighters from the 3rd battalion of the Spartan Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine have captured six Russian invaders in the Pokrovsk sector.

The brigade's press service shared a related video on its Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

"During an attempted assault, a group of five Russian mercenaries came under heavy fire from our military and took refuge in a private house. Unable to continue the fight or retreat, the invaders voluntarily surrendered," the report said.

The military added that "another Russian soldier -- the sole survivor from his assault group – wandered between houses for six days, but when he realized there would be no help, he decided to surrender."
