Tenth Edition Of Idea Camp Concludes With Incubation Of 25 New Startups

Doha: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, through its Digital Incubation Center (DIC) program, announced the notable achievements made during the fourth quarter of 2024, highlighting its role as an influential initiative in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem in the country. These achievements reflect the DIC's commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and enhancing the community of digital startups.

The Digital Incubation Center witnessed the graduation of 13 startups from the sixth edition of the Idea Camp. These companies entered the incubation period in February 2022 within a group of 25 startups and successfully completed the training program and graduation criteria.

The companies that excelled and successfully met the program's graduation criteria includes Akrem, a secure mobile app that enables users to scan QR codes at service outlets to show appreciation to workers and service providers.

AutismoLab LLC is a XR solutions to help software professionals with autism train individuals on the spectrum, enhancing their social and communication skills.

BaitTech is a platform that connects real estate seekers with local and foreign real estate options, offering innovative solutions and unique features.

Bawales is Qatar's first digital insurance aggregator, simplifying the insurance process for cars, health, and businesses with transparency and customized solutions.

Ellogy is an AI-powered platform that simplifies software requirements, facilitates the proposal of innovative uses, UML diagrams, and design artifacts for efficient business application development.

iCare is An AI-powered platform that simplifies communication between school administrations, teachers, parents, and bus drivers, providing real-time updates on reports, homework, and bus location.

Muamla is a digital platform that connects individuals and SMEs with government and non-government services to support business growth and expansion. My Pet World is an integrated platform that meets the needs of pet care, from purchasing essential products to connecting with pet breeders.

Naseh, another startup, Connects users with certified lawyers for legal consultations, helping them access accurate and reliable legal solutions.

QSales is an e-commerce platform that helps customers purchase household necessities and deliver them within 24 hours. SPOR is an app that brings together gyms, sports centers, fields, and trainers in Qatar, making it easy to search, book, and communicate with sports service providers.

SwitchIn is a solution for digitising property rental and management, along with a smart home system integrated with an IoT hub, control app, and configuration tool.

Another startup, WeTreat, empowers the healthcare sector with technological solutions that meet the needs of healthcare seekers and providers.

Nine startups from Qatar participated in the Global AI Summit 2024 in Qatar, presenting innovative solutions and showcasing a range of smart solutions that highlight how AI can contribute to technological and economic advancement. Additionally, four startups from the Digital Incubation Center presented their solutions at the International Healthcare Exhibition and Conference 2024, highlighting innovative technology in healthcare. These companies presented advanced technological solutions aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare services, enhancing Qatar's position as a center for innovation in the healthcare sector on an international level.
