Azerbaijan To Provide Humanitarian Aid To Ukraine - Aliyev


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has signed an order to allocate $1 million to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

This was reported by Aliyev's press service , Ukrinform saw.

"For the purchase and shipment of electrical equipment manufactured in the Republic of Azerbaijan for the purpose of providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine, based on the reserve fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan laid down in the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025, the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall receive funds in the manat equivalent of one million US dollars," the presidential order states.

It is noted that Aliyev also obliged the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan to provide the said financing.

He also instructed the country's government to resolve the issues arising from the order.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Azerbaijan has sent another batch of humanitarian aid to the Academician Zarifa Aliyeva Linguist Lyceum in Irpin, Kyiv region.
