Iraqi Cultural Week To Be Held At Darb Al Saai

Doha: The Iraqi cultural week will start at Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal from Thursday, the Ministry of Culture announced.
The four-day event is part of reinforcing the cultural cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Iraq. It features numerous activities that showcase the rich and diverse Iraqi cultural legacy.
The event primarily intends to help the public internalize the diverse Iraqi cultures, and foster intercultural dialogue, in addition to highlighting domestic and international cultural heritage and supporting talents across diverse spheres.
Director of the Department of Culture and Arts at the Ministry of Culture, Abdulrahman Al Dulaimi, stated that the event is part of the unwavering efforts to enhance cultural diplomacy and explore the Iraqi cultural and art diversity that fuses inveterate legacy with contemporary innovation.
The event echoes the strength of cultural ties between Qatar and Iraq, along with the ministry's commitment to holding events that nurture the domestic cultural scene, highlighted Al Dulaimi.
