Sokkar Sewing Machines Launches AI-Enhanced Equipment In Collaboration With Chinese Jack Technology

(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) “Sokkar” Sewing Machines, a leader in innovative solutions for advanced sewing equipment, has unveiled its latest high-quality machines in collaboration with Chinese company“Jack Technology.” This initiative aims to boost productivity and quality in Egypt's ready-made garments sector.
The announcement was made during a conference showcasing the newest innovation-the C7 URUS overlock machine. The event was attended by prominent figures in the textiles and garment industry, including major distributors of industrial sewing machines and leading ready-made garment manufacturers, focusing on the machine's advanced features and transformative capabilities.
Moataz Sokkar highlighted that the company is focused on addressing the growing needs of the ready-made garment sector in Egypt by providing equipment that enhances efficiency and precision for manufacturers, enabling them to meet local and export market demands.
He emphasized the company's crucial role in driving growth within Egypt's ready-made garment industry, noting that the new machines can sew all fabric types and are equipped with advanced artificial intelligence technologies. These features allow the machines to sense fabric thickness and automatically adjust accordingly.
Sarah Sokkar, Commercial Director of“Sokkar” Sewing Machines, noted the services provided by the company, including the latest global machines, original spare parts, and regular maintenance for factory equipment. She added that the launch of the new machines is part of efforts to foster innovation in Egypt's ready-made garment sector and support manufacturers in achieving new levels of productivity and quality.
Mr. Steven Chen, General Manager of Marketing and Planning at“Jack Technology,” praised the partnership with“Sokkar” in delivering the latest technologies developed by the Chinese company for factories, including new advancements in various types of sewing machines. He mentioned that these innovations help factory owners improve production quality and efficiency by reducing waste and saving time by 10.8%, thanks to key features like the“pressure foot converter” and“smart feeding speed.”
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, Head of the Ready-Made Garments and Home Textiles Chamber at the Federation of Industries, pointed out that the increase in Egypt's ready-made garment exports necessitates ongoing improvements in the quality of equipment and technology used. He acknowledged the new generations of sewing machines with modern technologies that address technical and production challenges, commending the partnership between“Sokkar” and“Jack Technology” in supplying equipment and machines to Egyptian factories to support the growth of garment exports.
It is noteworthy that Egypt's ready-made garment exports rose by 18% to reach $2.04 billion during the first nine months of 2024. The Ready-Made Garments Export Council aims to increase textile and garment exports to $1.4 billion by the end of 2025.
