(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, Oct. 17 (Petra)-- The Arab Entrepreneurship and Investment Conference (AEIC), which wrapped up its activities in Cairo yesterday, was sponsored by the Arab Republic of Egypt's Qaderoon Youth Foundation and featured young Jordanian Issa Munir Al-Adeli as the winner of the Best Technology Entrepreneur Award.
As a member of the Jordanian delegation that attended the conference under the auspices of the Knights of Change Association the foundation's regional partner in arranging the event Al-Adeli was joined by twelve young entrepreneurs.
The 16-year-old Al-Adeli won the prize for his idea to introduce the Point Zero platform, an Arabic social media website that will soon go live and support free speech and humanitarian causes. Its functions are similar to those of international communication platforms.
According to a press statement from the Knights of Change Association on Thursday, this accomplishment shows that Jordanian youth are aware of and capable of leading, innovating, and excelling in competitive projects on a regional and international scale.
