Within the framework of the Great Return program, the first resettlement to this city took place, and families who left in the morning in Jabrayil reached their native land.

According to information, as part of the first phase of resettlement, Jabrayil welcomed 117 people-36 families. Following a warm welcome, the families familiarized themselves with the transformed town.

Returning to their native land, Jabrayil residents thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for all-round state care. They also expressed gratitude to the brave Azerbaijani army, heroic soldiers and officers who liberated their lands from occupation, wished repose to the souls of shehidis who died in this way, and patience to their families.

All conditions have been created in the buildings restored in Jabrayil based on the instruction of the Head of State to accommodate the resettled families.
