This Year's ADEX Set To Be More Extensive Than All Previous Ones - Official

The ADEX exhibition to be held this year will be larger than all previous ones, the head of the Office of the Ministry of Defense industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Samir Aghabalayev, said during a press conference on the 5th anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Defense exhibition "ADEX" and the 14th Exhibition for International Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment“Securex Caspian”, Trend reports.

He noted that in 2024, the scale of the ADEX and Securex Caspian exhibitions has further expanded, demonstrating the growth of the exposition compared to previous years. Thus, this year's exhibitions will cover the entire exposition and open space of the Baku Expo Center, including the newly commissioned fourth hall.

“About 270 companies representing 38 countries have confirmed their participation in the exhibitions. The participating countries, along with Azerbaijan, are the US, Belarus, UAE, Bulgaria, UK, Czech Republic, China, Spain, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Hungary, Pakistan, Qatar, Russian Federation, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Türkiye, Ukraine, and other states. This year's shows were revitalized, with new companies accounting for 34 percent of the total number of exhibitors. Hungary, Qatar, Singapore, and Slovakia are new exhibiting countries.

A total of 14 countries will be represented at the exhibitions by the National Pavilion. Thus, Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Czech Republic, China, Italy, Israel, Hungary, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Türkiye, and Ukraine will participate in the exhibitions with the National Pavilion. Compared to 2022, the number of participants has increased by 32 percent,” he added.

To note, the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition "ADEX" - the most large-scale event dedicated to the defense industry in the region - will be held on September 24-26 at the Baku Expo Center. In parallel, the 14th Exhibition for International Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment“Securex Caspian” will be organized.

The first ADEX exhibition was organized in 2014. Although the biennial exhibition celebrates its 5th anniversary this year, it has been operating for ten years and has been expanding the list of exhibitors and the sectors it covers from year to year.

The exhibition has brought together many companies representing more than 50 countries and about 200 official delegations during its ten years of successful activity. More than 30,000 guests have visited the exhibition over the years.
