"I would like to note the high potential of the agro-industrial sector since the area of agricultural land in Kazakhstan is more than 200 million ha. According to preliminary calculations, the potential of the industry is more than $10 billion," Sultanbek emphasized.
According to Sultanbek, this figure reflects the huge opportunities for investment in the country's agro-industrial complex, especially in the field of deep grain processing.
Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gabidulla Ospankulov, also addressed the conference, highlighting Kazakhstan's investment climate and emphasizing the need for new approaches to improve the investment attraction system.
He pointed out that the country offers a variety of opportunities and tools for both domestic and foreign investors, contributing to the successful implementation of investment projects.
To note, the conference, held from September 11 through 15 in Astana, brought together honorary consuls operating in Kazakhstan and abroad to strengthen diplomatic and investment ties, exchange experience, and develop international cooperation.
