Indian Wapcos Set To Take Hydropower Co-Work With Tajikistan To Next Level

This was said during a meeting between Rahimzoda Sulton, Chairman of the State Committee for investment and State Property Management of Tajikistan, and Rajni Kant Agrawal, Head of Wapcos.

During the meeting, the parties discussed matters related to attracting investment in the hydropower sector, implementing infrastructure projects, and other priority initiatives in the country. The implementation of the CASA-1000 project was also emphasized as a key factor in enhancing bilateral energy cooperation.

Wapcos is a central public sector enterprise wholly owned by the Government of India. It specializes in engineering consultancy and construction services in the fields of water, power, and infrastructure, serving both businesses and communities in India and abroad. Wapcos has a track record of providing engineering consultancy for projects across these sectors, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the company is actively involved in the construction business.
