China inaugurates new direct passenger air route with Italy's Milan

(MENAFN) On Monday, a new direct passenger air route was inaugurated, connecting Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province in southwest China, with Milan, Italy. The inaugural flight, operated by Air China's southwest branch, took off from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport at 1:50 a.m. and is scheduled to land in Milan at 7:30 a.m. local time. This new route marks a significant expansion in direct international travel between the two cities.
The service will be available three times a week, operating every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The return flight from Milan to Chengdu is scheduled to depart at 12:45 p.m. local time, with a flight duration of approximately 12 hours.
