KSA plans on hosting Middle East LPG Expo 2024


(MENAFN) LPG Expo, renowned for organizing prominent exhibitions and conferences within the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) industry, has announced the forthcoming Middle East LPG Expo 2024. This two-day event is set to be hosted in Saudi Arabia, bolstered by strategic partnerships with the Oil Sustainability Program of Saudi Arabia, the World LPG Association, and the National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO) as the host sponsor.

Anticipated to attract over 2,000 industry professionals, the expo will feature participation from more than 70 international exhibitors representing 25 countries. Highlighting regional collaboration, the Saudi Arabia and Oman Pavilions will be prominently featured, sponsored by GASCO and Muscat Gas respectively.

Jeffrey Leung, Director at LPG Expo, emphasized the organization's commitment to advancing LPG as a clean and sustainable fuel option globally, particularly in developing nations where it can significantly contribute to long-term health benefits and environmental sustainability.

The event agenda includes presentations from speakers representing over 20 countries across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Africa. These sessions will address key topics, opportunities, and challenges within the LPG industry, reflecting its pivotal role in global energy transitions.

Ahmed Al Shammari, GM of marketing and communications at GASCO, revealed plans for the Oil Sustainability Program to collaborate with a Tadawul-listed firm, aiming to enhance clean cooking initiatives in developing countries. An agreement toward this end is expected to be formalized during the expo, underscoring commitments to sustainability and global energy access.

The Middle East LPG Expo 2024 promises to be a significant platform for industry stakeholders, governments, and global associations to explore innovations, partnerships, and strategies aimed at advancing LPG as a sustainable energy solution worldwide.
