Occupation performs large-scale incursions into West Bank

(MENAFN) Today, Israeli Occupation forces conducted a widespread campaign of raids across multiple cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, employing live ammunition against Palestinian civilians. Local sources report that a young man was gravely injured by Israeli gunfire during one such raid in Tulkarm. He sustained a severe chest wound and was rushed to a hospital for urgent medical care.

The raids in Tulkarm saw the occupation forces advancing from the western axis, where they raided a shop near the entrance to the Tulkarm refugee camp. Reconnaissance aircraft circled above, monitoring the situation. As the operation intensified, additional military vehicles and bulldozers were deployed from the western and southern axes of the city. These forces took strategic positions along the street adjacent to the camp and in the nearby suburb of Thanabah, amidst a backdrop of constant gunfire and explosions. Furthermore, Israeli forces were stationed around a hospital in the western part of the city and in the southern district area, further tightening their grip on the region.

Simultaneously, a foot patrol of the occupation army stormed the town of Sinjil, located north of Ramallah, conducting patrols through its streets. In a coordinated effort, the occupation forces also raided the towns of Qabalan and Qusra, situated south of Nablus. During these raids, a number of settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, invaded the town of Qusra, adding to the tension.

In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces expanded their operations, targeting the towns of Arraba and Kafr Ra'i, along with the village of Fahma, all located to the south of the city. The raids involved extensive searches of several residential neighborhoods, with occupation forces conducting thorough search operations in the homes of Palestinian citizens. This comprehensive campaign of raids has significantly heightened the already volatile situation in the West Bank, further exacerbating the ongoing tensions in the region.
