Culture Minister, Georgian Counterpart Discuss Cultural Cooperation
The meeting, held at the Royal Cultural Centre, falls within Najjar's invitation to Tsulukiani to attend the opening of the 38th Jerash Festival.
This year's festival, which begins on Wednesday at the North Theatre in the ancient city, coincides with the Kingdom's celebrations of the Silver Jubilee of the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah.
Najjar stressed that this year's festival has a strong focus on Palestine.
The discussions also attached importance to the key role of the Hashemite Custodianship over Jerusalem's Islamic and Christian holy sites in supporting Palestinian resilience, with Najjar reiterating Jordan's firm stance on the Palestinian cause.
Tsulukiani said that her visit aims to strengthen friendship and cultural relations between Jordan and Georgia and to attend the opening ceremony of the festival.
Besides enhancing cultural cooperation, organising joint cultural events between the two countries was discussed.
Najjar presented Tsulukiani with a shield of honour to mark the occasion.
