On Monday, EU Foreign Ministers To Once Again Discuss Ukraine


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On Monday, July 22, the Council of EU Ministers on Foreign Affairs will convene in Brussels with continued aid to Ukraine being on top agenda.

This was reported by the European Council's press service, Ukrinform saw.

"EU Foreign Affairs Ministers will discuss the Russian aggression against Ukraine, after an informal exchange of views with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, via videoconference," the report reads.

As noted, other topics will include the situation of the Middle East and continued humanitarian aid to the population of Palestine.

On the same day, the ministers will hold an informal exchange of views with the participation of the President of the European Investment Bank, Nadia Calviño.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, during the inaugural plenary session in Strasbourg after the European elections, the European Parliament adopted the first resolution on the need to continue EU efforts to support Ukraine.

On April 17, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the positive decision by the European Commission to allocate the first regular quarterly tranche for Ukraine in the amount of EUR 4.2 billion within the framework of the Ukraine Facility, and emphasized EU readiness to continue supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression for as long as it takes.
