Children From Moldova Were In Okhmatdyt During Missile Strike


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) At the time of the Russian missile attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv, there were patients from Moldova, and one child was undergoing surgery at the time.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by NewsMaker with reference to Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Herasimov.

The official, who is currently on a working visit to Kyiv, visited the Okhmatdyt hospital, which was damaged by a Russian missile strike.

"At that moment [of the Russian shelling], there were more than 600 patients in the hospital - children suffering from incurable diseases. Including children from Moldova, one of whom was on the operating table at the time of the bombing," Herasimov wrote on Facebook.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the child, who underwent surgery during the shelling, survived and is still under medical supervision.

As Ukrinform reported, during a massive missile attack on 8 July, a Russian missile hit the intensive and efferent therapy department for chronic intoxication at the Ohmatdyt children's hospital.

The shelling killed two adults, including a doctor.
