Death Toll In Gaza War Reaches 38,664 In More Than 9 Months


(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) The death toll from Israel's war on Gaza has increased to 38,664 since the conflict began on 7 October 2023. The Palestinian Ministry of health in Gaza reported that at least 80 Palestinians were killed and 216 others injured in the past 24 hours alone.


On Monday, the Ministry indicated that the death toll from the horrific Israeli Occupation massacre against displaced people in the Abu Oreiban School in the Nuseirat camp on Sunday rose to 22 dead and more than 100 wounded.


In a related context, the Director of the media Office of the Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza said that more than 190 UNRWA facilities were destroyed during the war in Gaza. She added in press statements that despite sharing the coordinates of our institutions daily with the Israeli side, there is unfortunately no safe place in the Gaza Strip.


The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that“after the return of our resistors from the battle lines, we confirm that a force of occupation soldiers was killed and wounded after a missile left by the enemy detonated in two tanks surrounded by several soldiers, near the roundabout 17 in the Tel al-Hawa neighbourhood, south of Gaza City.”


Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it bombed with a barrage of 60-calibre mortar shells the occupation soldiers and vehicles in the vicinity of the Awadallah Junction in the middle of the Yabna camp, south of the city of Rafah, adding:“Our mujahideen confirmed that the helicopter landed near the targeted place to evacuate the dead and wounded.”


Al-Quds Brigades added that it targeted with a“TPG” shell a group of occupation soldiers inside a residential apartment at the Awadallah Junction, in the middle of the Yabna camp, south of the city of Rafah, confirming that the group was killed or wounded.
