Iraqi Forces Clash With Daesh Fighters In Eastern Region

Baghdad, July 13 (Petra) -- The Iraqi army Saturday reported that its forces clashed with Daesh fighters in Diyala, east of the country, leaving several killed on both sides.
The Security Media Cell stated, 'The Iraqi security forces launched a security operation in Basateen Al-Ait in Diyala, east of the country, to establish security and stability.
Armed clashes took place with the Daesh terrorist gang, which caused the death of a number of security forces and the wounding of others.'
