Fms Of Kazakhstan And Turkmenistan Discuss Bilateral Co-Op Between Countries

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 8. Deputy Prime
Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu
has held a meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers
and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, who
arrived in Astana on a working visit, Trend reports via the press service of the
Kazakh MFA.
During the talks, the sides discussed a wide range of issues
concerning Kazakh-Turkmen cooperation. This included the status and
prospects of cooperation in political, trade and economic, transit
and transportation, energy, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as
well as the schedule of upcoming international events at the
highest and highest levels.
The Kazakh Foreign Minister congratulated his Turkmen
counterpart on the successful holding of the Days of Culture of
Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan, as well as the opening of the monument
to Turkmen spiritual leader, and philosophical poet Makhtumkuli
Fraghi in Astana.
