1965 -- Kuwait Amir sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah signed a law to establish Credit and Saving bank to offer Real estate and agricultural loans for citizens. The bank is under supervision of Minister of Finance.
1966 -- Kuwait Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia over the division of the neutral zone, signed on July 7.
1975 -- Kuwait Deputy Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah signed a law to treat Saudi, Bahraini and Emirati citizens as Kuwaiti nationals regarding trade and industrial activities as well as establishment of companies and own real estates, but on condition of reciprocity.
1995 -- Kuwait Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah signed a law allowing private companies to build housing units for citizens.
1997 -- Sudanese Minister of State at the Foreign Ministry Mustafa Othman Ismail arrived in Kuwait to be the first Sudanese official to visit Kuwait since Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
2000 -- Yusuf Abdulwahab Suwaidan, a renowned football player and the first Kuwaiti to be a FIFA certified referee, passed away at age of 63.
2003 -- Kuwait Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah signed decrees to license establishment of the American University in Kuwait, Maastricht School of Management, the Australian College of Kuwait and the American University of the Middle East.
2008 -- Kuwaiti Ophthalmologist Dr. Mubarak Al-Ajmi succeeded in removing a blood clot from the major eye artery of a 22-year-old female patient, which lost sight in one of her eyes because of this clot.
2018 -- Kuwait Court of Cassation sentenced for three years MPs Waleed Al-Tabtabae and Jamaan Al-Herbesh, as well as former lawmakers Musallam Al-Barrak, Mubarak Al-Waalan and Salem Al-Namlan in what was known as "National Assembly" case. (end) gta
