Umerov And Syrskyi Visit Soldiers In Siversk Direction


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi visited the control center of one of the mechanized brigades in the Siversk direction.

Umerov reported this on facebook , according to Ukrinform.

"Together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we worked at the control point of one of the mechanized brigades in the Siversk direction. We discussed the issue of strengthening combat positions and providing everything necessary for the effective performance of tasks. I am grateful to each serviceman for their dedication and professionalism," the Minister of Defense noted.

According to Umerov, he also "visited the command post of the operational and tactical grouping of Ukrainian troops in the Kharkiv direction."

"I listened to the report of the commander, Brigadier General
Mykhailo Drapatyi. We discussed the current situation and further steps to strengthen the defense in this area of the front," the Defense Minister said.

In addition, Umerov "visited the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Vovchansk direction, where he
listened to
the report from the commander of the Vovchansk tactical group.

"The soldiers showed a high level of readiness and motivation," the minister added.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Syrskyi visited units in the Donetsk region and awarded servicemen who distinguished themselves in combat.
