Kuwait Amb. Discusses Investment Opportunities In Salzburg


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, June 14 (KUNA) -- Ambassador of Kuwait to Austria and its Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, Talal Al-Fassam, discussed with senior officials in Salzburg, investment opportunities in various fields, particularly renewable energy, food security and tourism.
Following his meetings, Ambassador Al-Fassam told KUNA that he conducted discussions with senior local officials, including Stefan Schnoll, the Deputy Governor of Salzburg responsible for economy, commerce, and tourism.
Additionally, Al-Fassam said he met with Vice President of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, Andrea Stifter, and officials of the State Police Directorate.
Al-Fassam expressed Kuwait's aspiration to enhance bilateral cooperation, and diversify its sources of food security and encourage direct investment, as as Austria has fertile lands for agriculture and is distinguished with various industries.
Ambassador Al-Fassam highlighted Kuwait's attractiveness for international investors, citing its political stability and transparency in financial and commercial transactions.
Salzburg, the birthplace of the famous classic musician Mozart, is a major tourist destination year-round, renowned for its international music festivals and winter tourism. (end)
