
Ukraine Hopes To Attract Another EUR 10B From EU This Year Finance Ministry
That's according to the Ukrainian Finance Ministry's press service , Ukrinform reports.
"In 2024, Ukraine expects to attract another EUR 10 billion from the EU, subject to the fulfillment of requirements set out in the Ukraine Plan, $7.8 billion in budget support from the United States, $4.5 billion from the IMF, $2 billion from the Government of Japan, about $500 million from the UK etc.," the report reads.
Minister of Finance Sergii Marchenko said the need for external financing in 2024 stands at about $38 billion, with $11.8 billion already attracted in the first months of the year.
"We received assurances from donors that Ukraine will receive financial support in full. Together with international partners, we continue to consider all effective ways of financing additional budgetary needs in a predictable and rhythmic manner," Marchenko said.
