Moldova's Foreign Minister Condemns Anti-Ukrainian Provocations In France
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mihai Popsoi, condemned the actions by the three Moldovan nationals who were arrested in the French capital, Paris, on Saturday for showcasing images of coffins with the inscription "French soldiers who died in Ukraine."
The top diplomat made the statement via X , Ukrinform reports.
"We regret and firmly condemn the incident with the involvement of three Moldovan citizens in Paris, which are part of hybrid tactics to harm our international image," Popsoi wrote.
The head of the Foreign Ministry added that the government in Chisinau is ready to cooperate with France to clarify the circumstances of the incident and hold the culprits accountable.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on June 1, five coffins with French flags and the inscriptions "French soldiers in Ukraine" were installed outside the Eiffel Tower. Three suspects were detained over the incident.
The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation to probe possible foreign interference.
On June 8, three citizens of Moldova were detained in Paris as part of the investigation.
