Former White House Official Dori Salcido Joins Precision

WASHINGTON - Former White House official Dori Salcido has joined Precision as a partner as part of a larger expansion of the firm's leadership team.
Salcido, who served as director of strategic communications and external engagement for President Biden's COVID response team, will co-lead Precision's health care and crisis management practices, expanding the agency's strategic communications and public affairs portfolio.
Salcido brings experience from both public service and corporate sectors. During the Obama Administration, she served as assistant secretary for public affairs at HHS, where she managed crisis communications and the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Recent roles include serving as senior counselor for strategic communications at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) during the early stages of the pandemic. Her corporate experience includes a nine-year tenure at AOL as senior communications director, overseeing international expansions and crisis communications.
Precision has also promoted Deirdre Murphy Ramsey and Erin Lindsay to partners, reflecting their contributions to the agency over the last 10 years.
Ramsey, who previously led communications for IBM's global government and regulatory affairs and held senior roles in political communications, now leads several of Precision's long-term corporate accounts and co-chairs the agency's DE&I Committee. Lindsay, with a background in building digital programs at the Center for American Progress and the Obama White House, leads innovative digital work
All three of the new partners will join Precision's leadership team which includes managing partners Stephanie Cutter and Teddy Goff, partner Mike Spahn, and chief operating officer Tom Reno.
