UJ Ranks 368 In 2025 QS World University Rankings


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - The University of Jordan (UJ) has achieved a global ranking of 368th in the QS World University Rankings 2025.

UJ President Nazir Obeidat hailed this milestone as a testament to the University's progress among the world's leading institutions, standing out among more than 40,000 universities worldwide.

He highlighted the University's efforts following its breakthrough into the world's top 500 universities in 2024, which pushed the UJ forward to its current position in the 2025 rankings.

According to various performance indicators, the UJ has shown significant improvement in several areas. In terms of academic reputation, the university climbed to 268th in the world, showing a significant jump of 29 places from the previous year.

Regarding the university's research impact, as measured by the number of citations, the UJ jumped 92 places in the international research impact index, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The university also made significant gains in its employer reputation, rising 53 places to 197th in the world. It also made impressive progress in the graduate employability index, securing 110th place globally, a remarkable leap of 153 places.

The university's proportion of international students also saw a notable increase, rising 54 places to 331st in the world. The university's sustainability index also went up 89 places to 371st in the world.
