Kuwait Urges Iran To Verify Peaceful Nature Of Its Nuclear Program

VIENNA, June 5 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait called upon Iran on Wednesday to pursue cooperation with the International Atomic energy Agency to settle pending issues and assure the agency about peaceful nature of its nuclear program, as it says.
Talal Al-Fassam, the State of Kuwait Ambassador to Austria and its Permanent Representative at the International Organization in Vienna, was addressing the currently held IAEA board of Governors' session.
Ambassador Al-Fassam indicated in his statement that the IAEA Director General affirmed in his latest report that the unresolved matters were related to commitments that had been made by Tehran within framework of the comprehensive safeguards to verify the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program.
