Prior to joining APCO, Delgado Peralta (pictured) served as undersecretary for multilateral affairs and human rights at the Mexico Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this role, she spearheaded efforts to attract foreign investment and championed Mexico's economic potential on the global stage. During the COVID pandemic, Delgado Peralta played a pivotal role in securing medical supplies, coordinating international donations, and establishing a vital air bridge with China. Delgado Peralta's experience also includes serving as Mexico City's minister of environment, as which she spearheaded initiatives like the Green Plan and the city's first bike-sharing program, Ecobici.
WASHINGTON - Spectrum Science has appointed Amy Hutnik to the role of president. Hutnik currently serves as the company's chief commercial officer and will continue in that role during the transition. Jonathan Wilson will remain CEO and an executive member of the board with a focus on setting the vision and ensuring a foundation for continued growth. In her new role, Hutnik will lead Spectrum's global platform of integrated services including enterprise-wide operations and growth planning across the company's four strategic pillars: scientific communications, advertising & consulting, clinical trial experience and Spectrum Science Europe. CHICAGO - Golin has appointed Jeff Beringer as the company's first-ever chief AI officer (CAIO). Beringer, a 20-year Golin veteran, will architect and accelerate the implementation of a comprehensive, multi-year strategy to modernize the agency for the AI age. NEW YORK - Andrea Hagelgans has joined Avoq's strategic communications team as a senior VP based in the New York office. Hagelgans will focus on advising Avoq's premier clients nationally in both the private and public sectors, specializing in crisis communications, strategic communications and issue advocacy.
Hagelgans previously served as managing director of US social issues engagement at Edelman.
Prior to that role, Hagelgans served as head of corporate reputation for the New York region and managing director, New York corporate and public affairs at Edelman.

NEW YORK - Financial comms firm Vested has hired Abby Trexler as a managing director based in New York and Miami. In this role, Trexler will oversee several of Vested's US-based accounts and lead the firm's growing practice in South Florida, focusing on Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach. She joins most recently from Edelman Smithfield, where she served as an executive VP, and spent roughly four years at Hot Paper Lantern before that.

CHICAGO - Austin McClelland joins Spool as the agency's VP of PR & earned creative. He joins Spool from Phaedon (formerly ICFNext) where he was a senior director, leading a number of brands across its Molson Coors business.
