During the opening ceremony, the participating countries of theEuropean Cup were introduced, followed by the playing ofAzerbaijan's national anthem.
An enthralling gymnastics and choreographic show captivated alarge audience. The gymnasts' performances were vibrant,spectacular, and incredibly thrilling. Enhanced by dazzling lighteffects and spirited music, the performances were imbued with aspecial vibrancy.
The audience was thrilled, expressing their emotions withresounding applause.
The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku is hosting the EuropeanCup in Rhythmic Gymnastics from May 3rd through May 5th. Athletesfrom 37 countries are participating in the event, showcasing theirtalents across two age categories: seniors, which includesindividual and group routines, and juniors, focusing on individualperformances.
In the seniors category, Azerbaijan is represented by ZohraAghamirova and Kamilla Seyidzade in individual events, along with ateam comprising Gullu Aghalarzade, Kamilla Aliyeva, YelyzavetaLuzan, Darya Sorokina, Laman Alimuradova, and Zeynab Hummatova ingroup performances. Additionally, Fidan Gurbanli, Ilaha Bahadirova,Govhar Ibragimova, and Shams Aghahuseynova are among the juniorcategory athletes competing in individual programs.
