Turkey's benchmark stock sees decrease of 0.01 percent on Tuesday’s open

The market sentiment seemed to carry over from Monday's performance, where the BIST 100 concluded at 7,728.44 points, marking a notable 2.34 percent decline. The day's trading activities saw a robust daily volume, reaching 78 billion liras, equivalent to USD2.7 billion.

As the clock struck 10:02 a.m. local time (or 0702GMT), the foreign exchange market exhibited the following rates: the US dollar to Turkish lira stood at 29.0230, the euro to lira exchange rate was 31.3020, and the British pound was trading at 36.4780 Turkish liras.

Meanwhile, in the realm of commodities, the market reported Brent crude oil being transacted at approximately USD76.60 per barrel. Simultaneously, the price for an ounce of gold reached USD2,003.45, further influencing the dynamics of the financial landscape.
