SEATTLE - The Bulleit Group has launched an open-source generative AI policy framework
via a Creative Commons license with an eye on building consensus and generating collaboration as the PR industry figures out how to use the technology. This is the first collaborative open-source document for PR/comms professionals, a hub where the industry can share language, collaborate on suggestions, and engage with their peers on generative AI, Bulleit said.“Right now, some agencies are building their own generative AI content engines; others are mandating experimentation, and a few are even banning its use for client-facing projects. We're repeating the mistakes made during the social media revolution - which resulted in the emergence of a cottage industry of dubious gurus,” said Bulleit CEO Kyle Arteaga.“As the OpenAI saga has taught us, there is a need for AI to be transparent, collaborative, and not kept in the hands of a few.”
