Fourtold Appoints First UK Managing Director

(MENAFN- PRovoke) LONDON - Corporate communications and advocacy consultancy, Fourtold, has appointed India Knight as its first UK managing director as part of its plans to increase its presence in the UK market.

With 15 years' experience advising on strategy, reputation management and policy advocacy, Knight joins from global strategy firm Stonehaven, where she was a partner and contributed to the growth of the firm and expansion of its campaigning offer over the past four years. Before Stonehaven, Knight worked in Teneo's London office for 10 years, latterly as a managing director.

Fourtold founding partner Debbie Parriss, who set up the firm with fellow former FTI Consulting colleague Matthew Willis in 2013, said the appointment was a response to businesses and organisations facing“an increasingly complex policy and communications landscape”.

“India brings to the table a wealth of experience in connecting strategy with execution and in growing and leading teams. It makes her a great fit for our commitment to providing top-tier policy engagement, creative campaigns and commercial outcomes for our clients,” she said.

In her new role as UK MD and partner, Knight (pictured) will lead Fourtold's UK operations and develop its client proposition. She said“Fourtold has an impressive track record of bringing together policy, strategy and creativity to build campaigns that deliver real outcomes for some of the biggest names in tech and sustainability in Europe. I'm really excited about how we can build and grow that offer in the UK at a time of major change in UK business and politics.”

Fourtold now has a team of 35 across its Brussels, London and Oxford offices, advising clients including Apple, Meta, Vodafone, ISS, PepsiCo, Johnson & Johnson and Syngenta on European policy and corporate communications.

This latest announcement follows Fourtold's September appointment of Katy Searle , former senior controller at BBC News and the executive editor of BBC Politics, as a partner.

Fourtold's Brussels office is led by former Edelman director Nicola Scocchi, who joined in January this year . The previous Brussels MD was Omar Mockbil, who left the firm at the start of this year to take up an in-house role as IKEA's global public affairs leader .
