Amman, Oct. 24 (Petra) - Jordan participated in the second edition of the Gulf Education and Training Expo, which opened in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, bringing together ministries of higher education and educational institutions around the world.
The exhibition gathered over 40 educational institutions from the region, including Jordan University of Science and technology and the Middle East University from Jordan, according to Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mamoun Al-Debi'e.
He told Petra in an interview that more than 5,000 students took part on the first day of the two-day exhibition, urging Jordanian higher education institutions to engage on a larger scale to showcase the "distinguished and prestigious" Jordanian institutions that made it to the top 500 universities on the world list.
Attending the exhibition would be an excellent opportunity for school students to explore their options for universities and academic programs. They can meet with representatives from local and international universities to discuss everything related to their interests and scientific ambitions and have their queries answered. This can help them determine a study path toward a successful career, said Al-Debi'e.
