MIAMI - Golin has appointed Ian Abrams as the managing director of its Southeast region. Abrams, who has been with Golin since 1999 and held various roles within the company, will be based in the Miami office and will report to president and COO Gary Rudnick. Abrams will oversee local operations and provide leadership for Golin's Atlanta operation while focusing on expanding the agency's footprint across the Southeast. Additionally, Abrams will spearhead the growth of Golin's government contract practice throughout the US. During his tenure with Golin, has secured new clients for the firm's Southeast portfolio, including the American Transaction Processors Association, Eve Air Mobility, FEMA, The Miami Foundation's“Miami Open for Business Program,” Third Sector Capital Partners and Unidos.
WASHINGTON - Former US chief of protocol Capricia Penavic Marshall is joining FGS Global as a partner based in Washington. Marshall joined FGS from CPM Global Engagement Strategies, where she was president, CEO and founder. She brings to the firm 30 years of experience at the highest levels of foreign policy, international diplomacy and high-stakes event coordination. During her 2009-2013 tenure at the state department, Marshall developed diplomatic engagement for the president and cabinet to welcome foreign heads of state and government to the United States. She oversaw all aspects of diplomatic visits of foreign heads of state and government to ensure they were successful, including facilitating hundreds of bilateral and multilateral meetings with President Barack Obama, Vice President Joseph Biden, and secretaries of state Hillary Rodham Clinton and John Kerry.
LOS ANGELES - Cultural marketing agency 160/90 has appointed Jody Friedericks as executive creative director. Based in Los Angeles, Friedericks (pictured)
brings nearly 30 years of experience, having held prior roles at creative agencies ATTN: and Known and in-house at Princess Cruises. As executive creative director at 160/90, Friedericks will lead the agency's global creative team, working on behalf of existing clients and across new business efforts. She also will support the agency's new sonic marketing offering.
WASHINGTON - Seven Letter has hired Robin Calleja and Kelcey McClung. Calleja previously supported Filipino Americans for Biden-Harris as a digital communication specialist, amplifying social media reach through creative digital content. McClung, beginning her career in journalism and later working for the United States Global Leadership Coalition. Both Calleja and McClung join as managers in Seven Letter's Washington office, following the recent appointments of Blair Taylor as managing director and Maura Hogan as senior director.

Before joining Antenna, Long spent nearly 10 years at the Washington-based global non-profit U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), where she played a pivotal role in shaping the organization's public image and managing communications for USGBC's LEED green building rating system, the Center for Green Schools and the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo. Kristin Ford-Glencross joins as VP of climate & mobility, bringing 13+ years of experience in mobility and technology working with Audi, Ford, Nissan, Verizon and more. She will expand Antenna's mobility practice, leveraging her deep knowledge of vehicle electrification, automated/autonomous tech, connected infrastructure and urban mobility.
MINNEAPOLIS - John Schneider has been named senior VP of digital and engagement at
Curious Plot. In the role, Schneider will be leading a fast-growing team that provides digital and media services to the entire spectrum of clients in food, agriculture and companion animal care. Prior to joining Curious Plot, Schneider owned his own digital marketing and growth consultancy, Minneapolis-based SdismDigital. Previously, Schneider served in senior digital and strategy roles for organizations including Infallible Consulting, JT Mega, Inprela Communications, Pedalr, Future & Now and Beehive Strategic Communications.
WASHINGTON - Tiger Hill Partners has hired Holly Radel as executive VP of public affairs and communications.
Radel will lead key client partnerships, particularly in the financial services and technology sectors. Radel was formerly COO and managing director of institutional relations at the Global Private Capital Association, where she led strategic growth initiatives, communications, and advocacy work for the international organization and its 200+ investment firms.
