Ukraine thinks about taking action towards Israel

(MENAFN) Ukraine is thinking about taking action towards Israel in punishment for its inability to demonstrate enough backing, according to the Kyiv Post [previously referred to as the Kiev Post], quoting an unidentified security source.

According to the English-language diaspora publication, one of the measures under discussion is the exclusion of Israel from high-level talks regarding Ukraine at the US Air Force Base in Ramstein, Germany, because of concerns that the Middle Eastern state could provide intelligence to Russia.

According to the Kyiv Post, an unknown worker from Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council stated on Thursday that "Israeli authorities never provided any real help."

Kiev authorities are dissatisfied with the Jewish state's "unfriendly actions toward Ukraine and pro-Russian position on the international stage," as reported by the news site.

Furthermore, an unidentified Ukrainian security official informed the Post that there is a "real danger" that material exchanged with Israel during the Ramstein sessions "will probably fall into the possession of the aggressor state."
