In The Matter Of William O'hanlon V Susan Knoeller Et Al -- Law Pr Advocates

(MENAFN- PRLog) -- During the winter of 2016, devoted son, William O'Hanlon and his wife moved into the residence located at 199 Dorado Avenue, Sewell NJ 08080 at the request of his father, Harold O'Hanlon.
At the time Harold, in his late 80's, was suffering from dementia and began experiencing a decline in his health.
Harold expressed his fear to William of his daughter Susan Knoeller and husband, Captain James Knoeller of the NJSP, would force him into a nursing home and sell the family home without his permission.
Sadly, these fears were validated when William began to receive numerous threatening phone calls from Captain Knoeller.
Captain Knoeller demanded William to immediately leave the Dorado Avenue residence followed by threats of violence or risk being arrested by Captain Knoeller's coworkers.
O'Hanlon continued to receive these threats through 2020. During the winter of 2020, O'Hanlon and his wife were vacationing in Florida when they received a phone call from a neighbor on Dorado Avenue alerting them to Knoeller and his wife removing all of the contents from the home.
Much of the contents belonged to William and his wife.
When William inquired into why they removed all his belongings, Captain Knoeller stated that he was evicting him.
It is important to note that during this time in 2020, there was a federal and state wide moratorium on all evictions due to the ongoing pandemic.
Regardless of the illegally obtained power of attorney touted by the Knoellers, this "eviction" was completely illegal and unethical on 2 counts.

All evictions were banned by state lawmakers.

The Knoellers had not followed the due process required by law to evict a tenant.
Had they attempted to get a court order, it would have been denied by the eviction moratorium.
Mr. O'Hanlon expressed his disappointment in local law enforcement by stating, "the real victim here was my father, my wife and I were merely collateral damage."
