(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian artillery opened fire at a village in Kharkiv region where a woman was killed and an elderly man was injured. That's according to Oleh syniehubov , the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"The occupiers continue to attack populated areas in Kharkiv region. As a result of enemy shelling of the village of Podoly in the Kupiansk district, a woman, 58, was killed, and a man, 66, sustained injuries and was rushed to a hospital," the posting says.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the morning of Sunday, August 6, the Russians launched missile strikes on Kharkiv from own territory, firing off a batch of S-300 missiles.
