CEO pay increases by many millions of US dollars


(MENAFN) Although several tech titans were on the verge of or implemented mass layoffs last year, CEO pay increased by many millions of US dollars, based on an ABC News analysis of information provided by research company Equilar in the months of May and June.

According to Equilar statistics, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai was paid more than USD225 million last year, a 3,474 percent rise from a year earlier, making him the country's most-paid CEO.
