Talking at a media meeting on Monday, Chinese Foreign Ministry official, Mao Ning, stated that the recent Japanese actions were “clearly directed” against Beijing, also stated that the Chinese administration was “deeply dissatisfied.”

Mao also noted that “China urges the Japanese side to bear in mind the overall interests of China-Japan economic and trade cooperation and its own long-term interests and refrain from abusing export control measures.”
