Turkmenistan State Budget Records Increase In Revenue


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 21. The revenue part of the state budget of Turkmenistan was fulfilled at the level of 113.1 percent, and the expenditure part - by 97.6 percent from January through June 2023, trend reports.

This was stated by the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Jorayev at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 14, 2023.

Furthermore, according to him, the revenue part of the local budget is executed at the level of 100.6 percent, and the expenditure – 98.2 percent.

Jorayev noted that 54 meetings of balance commissions were held in the first half of this year, including 42 regional ones, during which the results of financial and economic activities of ministries, sectoral departments and institutions accountable to them were reviewed, an analysis of their use of production capacities and development of investments, their financial and economic indicators were carried out.

Considerable funds are being allocated towards the establishment of advanced industrial infrastructure in Turkmenistan. These investments play a pivotal role in fostering comprehensive regional development and driving economic prosperity throughout the entire nation.
