Having examined requests of the needy by the Fund's competent specialists in Zakat, aids are granted to the needy and poor (citizens and residents). Such aids are of different kinds, among which are: monthly aid, lumpsum assistance for one time as per need, medical treatment aid, school fees for needy families, aid for people in debt and their families, as well as seasonal assistance. The Department has sub-offices and collection points that are spread across the country.

The Department also calculates the due Zakat for companies, firms and individuals; and holds special training courses in order to make it easy for all to do their duty by themselves.
